LATAM goes lightweight with Nordisk Ultralite

Following their decision to replace their aluminium container fleet with lightweight containers LATAM has decided to purchase 3,517 Nordisk Ultralite containers.

The fleet replacement program includes the delivery of four different versions of the Nordisk Ultralite, including the Nordisk Ultralite 55kg AKE. Nordisk expects the fleet replacement program to be completed within 5 months.

With the fleet replacement LATAM Airlines expect to achive considerable savings in both fuel, emission and maintenance.
