Nordisk sponsoring flight to orphans in Colombia

The Airbus Corporate Foundation was founded in 2008 with the objective to develop international philanthropy, facilitate charitable activities worldwide under one roof within an international network of employees, customers, local and international organizations.Since its founding, the Airbus Corporate Foundation has coordinated 10 humanitarian and relief flights. Some of those flights were bulk-loaded, on other flights pallets were borrowed. Because of the difficulty obtaining pallets for ferry-flights, the Airbus Corporate Foundation approached Nordisk Aviation Products in August 2009 and inquired about possible sponsorship of pallets. Nordisk agreed to sponsor 5 pallets per year and Amsafe sponsored the nets.

On 19 May 2011 the Airbus Corporate Foundation coordinated another Humanitarian Ferry-flight on Avianca to Colombia, in partnership with Aviation sans Frontieres, with donated clothes, shoes, toys and books for orphanages in Colombia. A total of 6500kgs, loaded on 5 pallets from Nordisk.
